The Windmil Community pub
Our vision is to run the Windmill pub as a community hub, owned by the community, for the community. To reach this goal, we have set up The Windmill Community Pub Ltd (WCPL).
The WCPL is a Community Benefit Society set up to buy and run the Windmill pub in Charlton, Hertfordshire. The following information explains more about the WCPL, and what it means to buy community shares.
Shares cost £100 each, with a maximum of 500 shares per person.
Registering an interest is an expression of commitment - it is not a legally binding commitment, and the pub and car park are currently in private ownership. You will not be required to part with any money unless we can raise enough funds and agree a purchase. We will keep you updated regularly as we raise funds.
